Account information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and any other information you provide during sign-up, managed via Clerk.

Billing information

Payment information (card number, billing address) is collected and stored by Stripe. License Feed never sees or stores your full card number. We receive only a Stripe customer ID and high-level billing status.

Usage analytics

We collect basic usage data — pages visited, features used, download events — to understand how the product is being used and to improve it. This data is not sold or shared with advertisers.

• Send Monday email digests (if opted in)
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the product based on usage patterns
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We share information only with the third-party services necessary to operate License Feed:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — secure storage of account and subscription data
• Resend — transactional and digest email delivery

Each of these is a reputable third-party service with its own privacy policy and data security practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of License Feed or others.

License Feed uses session cookies required for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it. This includes rights under GDPR (for users in the EU/EEA) and CCPA (for California residents).

To exercise any of these rights, email jason@licensefeed.com. We will respond within 30 days.

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After you close your account, we retain data for up to 12 months for legal and billing purposes, then delete it.

We use industry-standard security practices including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is limited to authorized personnel. No system is 100% secure; if you suspect a security issue, contact us immediately.

License Feed is a business-to-business service intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes via email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
